ABOUT
Our Story
All Muslims are students of the Quran. It is obligatory to recite Quran in prayers, and so every Muslim memorizes at least some verses of the Quran in order to be able to offer their prayers. We all know the great rewards associated with learning the Quran, reciting it and memorizing it. What is not that often considered is the teaching of the Quran. Technically we all have the capacity to become teachers of the Quran, because we know some part of the Quran which we can easily pass over to others.
Do you want to be the best? Have a look at the following hadith: The best among you (Muslims) are those who learn the Qur’an and teach it. [Sahih Al Bukhari] This hadith itself is enough motivation to start teaching the Quran. The Prophet further said, Do not wish to be like anyone, except in two cases: (1) A man whom Allah has given wealth and he spends it righteously. (2) A man whom Allah has given wisdom (knowledge of the Qur’an and the Hadith) and he acts according to it and teaches it to others. [Sahih Al Bukhari] Imagine that you teach five people one verse of the Quran each, and they use that verse in their prayers for a week. You will get the rewards of their recitations everytime they recite it, because the Prophet said, Whoever teaches some knowledge will have the reward of the one who acts upon it, without that detracting from his reward in the slightest.
